DID YOU KNOW?!

What happens after you win your case before the immigration court? Information you may not know and that might not be available to you because you were not informed!

So, what happens after you win your case before the immigration judge in removal proceedings? Does the green card just automatically get mailed to you? The answer is no. Depending on what type of case you have before the immigration court; it is best to discuss the procedure that follows after you received a grant of your application. For example, the immigration judge adjusted your status in court because you got married to a US citizen eventually while your proceedings were going on. What happens next is the important part:

Step 1: Your attorney may speak to the trial attorney to have your file transferred to USCIS

Step 2: Wait approximately 30 days to reach out to USCIS and set up an appointment for you to have the green card issued

Note: each matter is different and consulting with an experienced immigration attorney is very important.
